Pakistani woman makes different meat recipes in the occasion of Eid-ul-azha from the meat of sacrificed animal and is enjoyed by family members and friends.

Besides Eid-ul-Azha, Eid-ul-Fitr is also celebrated every year. In this festival the Pakistani woman makes different sweet dishes for the guests and home members and is also distributed in the neighborhood.

The ten days of Muharram are observed, 9th and 10th Moharrum are official holidays in Pakistan.

Jashn-e-Baharan, also referred to as Basant, is a pre-Islamic Punjabi festival that marks the coming of spring. Kite flying competitions are held on this event.

On 14th August the Independence Day is celebrated across Pakistan. Pakistanis decorate their homes fully and a Pakistani flag is towered on the top of the house. Fireworks are used in different cities and buildings are lighted fully for the day.
